Action-Clowns France
Is an association based in France, whose aim is: To support HIV and AIDS prevention through the medium of
arts and theatre on the model of the Guatemalan ˜Asociación Payasos Atz'anem K'oj,
and more generally, to support Clown- and arts-based communication initiatives to
the service of public health, human rights, cultural diversity and social
justice throughout the world.
Its principal aims are
1. to conduct fundraising activities and special events. These funds will be applied in their entirety to the projects of the Asociacion Payasos, operating from Guatemala.
2. to identify and present projects and proposals to French and European donors in its role as French partner of the Asociacion Payasos
3. to raise awareness within mainstream French society and enlist support for its activities
Action-Clowns France operates along the same principles as those developed by the Asociación Payasos Atz'anem k'oj en Guatemala.
